Seanna Lassetter

Seanna Lassetter is the Adults Principal Social Worker and Head of Service for Assurance at Walsall Council. Seanna was the co-chair of the West Midlands Adults PSW Network for 4 years and is currently the co-chair of the National Adults PSW Network. With over 30 years’ experience, Seanna’s social work journey began in 1995, inspired by early experiences working in care settings and a transformative social work placement in India. Her career has focused on mental health services, safeguarding, championing human rights and challenging discrimination. As PSW, she has led initiatives to improve and evidence safe and effective practice, foster co-production, and promote research—culminating in collaborative projects and national recognition. Seanna is a values-based leader dedicated to developing the profession, supporting colleagues, and advancing adult social care through teamwork and compassion. Her approach is rooted in kindness, continuous learning, and the belief that the impact we have on others is what truly endures.
