Mark Harvey and Fran Leddra are extremely excited to be taking on the role of Chief Social Workers for Adults and to continue the great work Lyn Romeo has led over the last six years.

This provides a natural opportunity to reflect on her experiences in the role to date, consider collective achievements, and look ahead to future challenges and possibilities.
You may have noticed this blog has changed its title and is no longer in my name, Lyn Romeo.
The reasons for this are threefold: firstly to align with the format of other GOV.UK blogs, secondly to emphasise its main focus, but thirdly to signal a temporary but significant change in my personal and professional circumstances.
